The thesis is focused on the identification of a strategic proposal in the conditions of a manufacturing company on the Czech market. The aim of the thesis was to propose and describe possible new strategies based on partial results from the analysis of the internal and external environment of the company. The thesis used the methods of PESTE analysis and Porter's five driving forces model in the external environ-ment. Within the internal environment, the 7S method and selected ratios of finan-cial analysis were used. On the basis of partial findings, the thesis used SWOT analysis methods and EFE, IFE, IE and SPACE matrices. The result of the work is a detailed description of the proposed strategy, specific recommendations of the subenterprise for the implementation of the strategic proposal and economic evaluation of the impact of the strategic proposal. The strategic proposal, if applied, will lead to an improvement in the efficiency of the company.

The goal of the thesis is to create a strategy proposal for a selected company on the Czech market. The proposal is based on the analysis of the current state of the company and its environment. The literature review discusses the strategic management tools that were applied in the result part of this thesis. In the result part of the thesis the selected company and its vision, its current strategy and market situation are presented. In the thesis, the analysis of the external environment has been carried out with the application of PESTEL analysis and Porter's model of competitive forces. Furthermore, the analysis of the internal environment was carried out, using 7S analysis, ratio analysis, SWOT analysis, determination of pairwise comparison, to assess the IFE and EFE matrix, SPACE matrix. The result of these analyses is the output of IE matrix and SWOT matrix, which show what strategy the selected company should apply. The main objective of this thesis was to formulate a strategy proposal for the selected company to consolidate and expand its position in the Czech market. This strategy proposal is part of the results section of the thesis, where the strategy is discussed. The selected strategy is elaborated into recommendations for application, including an economic evaluation of their possible impact.
Ownership Forms of News Agencies in Selected EU Countries

The thesis "Ownership Forms of News Agencies in Selected EU Countries" aims to analyze the forms of ownership and other characteristics of the three national news agencies: British agency Press Association, Swedish agency Tidningarnas Telegrambyrå and Spanish agency EFE. Differences and similarities of the news agencies and the three media landscapes of UK, Sweden and Spain are explored within the context of the three media systems (North Atlantic, North/Central European and Mediterranean), described by Hallin and Mancini in their book Comparing Media Systems: Three Models of Media and Politics. The comparison is assessed on the basis of four parameters: development of media markets, political parallelism, professionalization and role of the state in media system. The thesis examines agencies from all possible angles. The conclusion summarizes the most important findings and evaluates the comparative analysis of the news agencies' ownership forms and media systems.

This diploma thesis deals with corporate management of selected economic subject and its analysis, on the base of it recommendation are formulated, which can be used for management and growth of company. The theoretical part of the thesis analyses the current state of the solved problems in the literature, the practical part deals with investigated company and results of the thesis. In terms of analysis of external environment are realised PEST and EFE analysis, which revealed an above-average dependence on the external environment. In the internal environment, the analysis focuses on the object of business, organizational structure, selected area of human resources management, also on profits and financial analysis. Part of the diploma thesis is SWOT analysis and structural analysis of branch by Porter's model of five power also. These analysis support ether a slightly proactive approach to business.

This bachelor thesis deals with the comprehensive analysis of corporate management in company Herlango, Ltd. The designated company sells optical correction devices and its accessories, which it sells through its own chain of eyewear shops. In the first part of this work are theoretically described methods and procedures to be used to assess the situation in the company. In the second part these methods are practically applied to business Herlango Ltd. First, the analysis of the internal environment of the company, which describes: the organizational structure, management structure, marketing, financial analysis and information system. Subsequently is examined firm external environment using PEST analysis and Porter model of competitive forces. In the last part of the work is assembled SWOT matrix with which will be determined strategies and measures which should lead to improved functioning of the company.
